OK this really irks me. This short Chronicle article about the anti-memorial for late homobigot Falwell makes it sound like the organizer, a certain out spoken gay men in the City, is only about gay men. Is the word lesbian used as if gay men had the bigotry locked up over gayness and AIDS? Uh yeah I am one of those lesbians who was there changing underwear and sheets for people too sick to take care of themselves. Sexism rears its ugly head in the face of the demise of one of our enemies. Funny how that happens.
At least Tinky Winky can exist in peace now.
